1. Introduction
Welcome to OMEISSA (“we,” “our,” or “us”). OMEISSA is a creator and fan platform where supporters can buy Stars, support creators, join communities, and help direct a portion of platform activity toward charitable causes.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By using OMEISSA, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Eligibility and Age
OMEISSA is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account or sent us personal information, contact us at info@omeissa.com.
3. Information We Collect

Stripe may collect identity, tax, bank account, and verification details directly from creators.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser information: Device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, language, and general location inferred from IP address.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, referrals, and interaction patterns.
- Security and log data: Login attempts, access times, session records, fraud signals, webhook logs, error logs, and audit events.

5. How Information Is Visible or Shared
- With other users: Your public profile, creator page, posts, comments, fan page activity, community participation, and other public content may be visible to other users.
- With message recipients: DMs and community messages are visible to the people or communities receiving them. Recipients may keep copies even if you later delete your account or message.
- With creators: Creators may see information needed to understand supporter activity, community participation, and creator-page engagement.
- With admins and moderators: We may review content, messages, reports, feedback, transaction records, and account activity for support, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and platform operation.

- With Endaoment: OMEISSA is not a charity. Charity disbursements are made via Endaoment, a 501(c)(3) donor-advised fund provider. We may share allocation, transaction, and processing information needed to route charity funds. The tax deduction goes to OMEISSA the entity, not to fans or creators.
- For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, payment disputes, chargebacks, security investigations, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of OMEISSA, users, creators, charities, or others.
- Business transfers: If OMEISSA is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Payments, Payouts, and Charity Disbursements
Stripe handles card details for Star purchases. Stripe Connect handles creator onboarding, identity verification, payout accounts, tax information, account status, transfers, and payout records. If a creator's Stripe Connect account is disabled, restricted, under review, or unable to receive funds, we may use Stripe status information to pause, delay, reverse, or re-route payout activity as allowed by our Terms and applicable law.
Endaoment receives information needed to process charity disbursements. OMEISSA is not itself a charity, and fans and creators do not receive the tax deduction for the charity portion of Star purchases. The tax deduction goes to OMEISSA the entity.
7. Sensitive Information and Inferences
Your creator support, fan page activity, community participation, charity interests, posts, comments, or messages may reveal sensitive personal interests or beliefs. Please do not share sensitive personal information on OMEISSA unless you choose to make that information available and understand how it may be used or seen.
8. Cookies, Analytics, and Error Monitoring
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and site performance. Vercel hosts OMEISSA and may provide analytics about site usage and performance. Sentry helps us find and fix errors and may receive diagnostic information such as browser details, URLs, account identifiers, logs, and error context.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some browsers send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals; we will honor legally required opt-out signals where they apply, but some essential cookies are needed for the site to work.
9. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS/TLS, password hashing, access controls, and provider-level security tools. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide OMEISSA, maintain accounts, process transactions, manage creator payouts, track charity disbursements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information where reasonably possible. Some information may be retained longer, including transaction records, payout records, charity disbursement records, moderation and safety records, fraud and security logs, backups, records held by third-party providers, and information we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing emails

12. International Data Transfers
OMEISSA is operated from the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have different privacy laws than your country of residence.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice, such as an email or in-product notice.
